The Los Angeles Lakers star bought 2% of Liverpool with his business partner Maverick Carter for 6.5 million dollars in April 2011. It proved to be a shrewd move, as well as a highly lucrative one. James would have loved last night when Liverpool advanced to the UEFA Champions League.

Although LeBron’s investment has not increased much in terms of the value of the club yet it seems to be the case that their luck has certainly changed for the better.
