LeBron James has been one of the best players in the league for almost two decades now. There were a lot of expectations on the shoulders of LeBron as he made his debut in the NBA. To say that he has surpassed those expectations would be an understatement. James has been a part of different franchises with different cultures.

In the twilight of his career, James has only one goal in mind; to win more championships. Having already won four Championships with three different franchises, James only wants to add to his legacy now. He is a winner and he demands the same from everyone in the organization. While he has gone through his share of rebuilds, he has no patience for it at this point of his career.

After he was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers, he felt like he had more responsibilities than other rookies would. He said, “I felt like it was my job as an 18-year-old to try to build the culture, which is kind of unfair, but it is what it is”. His first stint with the Cavs didn’t result in a championship, although, it can perhaps be attributed to poor front office decisions.

He won titles with the Miami Heat and the Cavs during his second stint in Cleveland. LeBron James then joined the Los Angeles Lakers with only winning on his mind. LeBron James has no patience for rebuilding right now

In the latest episode of ‘‘The Shop’, James was asked whether he likes the pressure of going all the way. He replied, “Yeah I’m obsessed with it, with win or bust”. He continued, “What makes me have sleepless nights is when you don’t have everyone that feels the same way on your club.”

The Lakers are in a strange position currently. Even though they won the championship in 2020, they failed to even make the playoffs last season. They made numerous changes to their roster but it all proved to be disappointing in the end. The Lakers are expected to go into a rebuild mode if things don’t work out soon.
