James played four seasons with the Miami Heat, winning two championships along the way. He averaged 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists for the Heat. In a recent episode of The Shop, James said that he would have a great impact on the Heat if he was to play for them.

Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo seem to be the only reliable players in Miami as of now. “But if it was one team that I know I could make an immediate impact in the post-season and we could be very special, it’d be either Miami or Golden State,” said James.

While it would be a special surprise for the Heat fans, Miami needs another scorer on their team. A veteran and dominant player like James would be of great help to Butler. Though he showed interest in the Warriors, LeBron landing in Miami would be a homecoming for him. James brings energy to his teammates and has a dominant presence on the floor.

In the East Finals, Jimmy Buckets went off. He gave his all, dropping two 40 pieces in the series, but that wouldn’t be enough s the Celtics took Game 7. LeBron has quite some experience in closing Game 7s, including in the NBA Finals. Playing alongside Butler, LeBron would’ve been a great facilitator.

James will be a free agent following the 2022-23 season. LeBron will have a choice to either re-sign with the Lakers or sign with another team for a season, till his son gets drafted.
