A couple of years ago, LeBron’s name had floated in a water supply chain in Pakistan. Paani Project, a nonprofit organization that provides all sorts of aid in and around the country, has a few celebrity names under them. This organization’s headquarters are located in Michigan, United States, and it has several high-profile entities attached to it.

Paani Project was established in 2017. Since then, the organization has raised over $100k and has built 200 wells in Pakistan. Not only this, Paani has several wells named after athletes and celebrities, including former cricketer Imran Khan and entertainer Jaden Smith.

Notably, Paani volunteers acknowledged LeBron, claiming that James was the most visible when it came to bringing awareness among people.
