But old habits die hard. And the Timberwolves blew another lead in the fourth quarter. They were up by 13, with a little over nine minutes to play in the fourth quarter. And this game looked in the bag as well. However, Ja had other ideas. He exploded for 18 points in the fourth quarter and he hit the game-winner for the Grizzlies. Even the great LeBron James was impressed with how Morant rallied the Grizzlies and he tweeted about him.

It was the end of the third quarter, and the Grizzlies were down by 13. They were down badly and needed a jumpstart to ignite their rally. And they turned to their leader, Ja Morant. With the shot clock running down, Morant drove inside the lane and beat two defenders. And then he took one step inside the free-throw line and took off.

He jumped on Malik Beasley and threw down a vicious slam over the Timberwolves defender. The crowd went nuts, and the arena was shaking. This was the turning factor in the game as the Grizzlies changed their level of tempo and increased their intensity. Even Jayson Tatum was amazed by the dunk and he tweeted “Damn” with a clip of the dunk.
