The Los Angeles Lakers blew away Minnesota Timberwolves as they won the game 127-91. The Lakers were playing without Anthony Davis, who earlier reported calf contusion. Still, they managed a comfortable win with LeBron James leading from the front.

The unit once had a 40-point lead over the Timberwolves in the third quarter and never looked beaten. The whole-new version of Kyle Kuzma continued to surprise and impress his fans. He started at the position of AD and delivered a game-high 20 points.

This has put the Lakers back on a winning run, and now the only thing they do not need is another injured player.

LeBron James gave an important update about his ankle

During the first half, Bron rolled his left ankle, now for the second time since the season began. He continued to play after that and clocked 26 minutes in the game. In the post-game interview, the 4-time NBA Champion detailed, “It’s been better, but it feels pretty good obviously. Tomorrow, once I go to sleep or lay down, will be the telltale sign of how good or how not good it is. So, I don’t want to say I’m looking forward to that. But, we’ll see tomorrow.”

The Akron Hammer added 18 points and remained just one rebound short of recording a double-double. Nevertheless, he achieved yet another career milestone just as he entered the double figures. The 36-YO is now tied with Timberwolves’ Kevin Garnett for the fourth place on the list of NBA players who scored 10 or more points 1260 times in their career.

This also meant that Bron has not scored in double-digits only eight times in his entire 17-year long career. Unbelievable!

The Los Angeles Lakers are on a high

Kyle Kuzma has averaged 16 points in the first three games for the Lakers. He began his scoring against the Timberwolves with back-to-back threes. On the other end, Marc Gasol looked more confident in his playmaking, and his 8 assists really came in handy for his teammates. The four field goals and triple three-pointers from him came with 100% accuracy.

The Lakers were so dominant at their defense that they registered 14 blocks and ensured that the Timberwolves struggled at the rim. The men in Golden and Purple ruined the night for rookie Anthony Edwards, who scored the highest (15 points) for his side.

In almost every certainty, the Lakers are an even better unit than they were in the previous year. Do you agree? Help us know in the comments.
