After the humiliation against the Celtics, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving faced the media’s wrath. Interestingly enough, NBA legend Charles Barkley had a few words for Durant.

Talking on Inside the NBA, the Hall of Famer called KD a bus rider rather than a bus driver. Durant did not take this well. He took to Instagram to post a series of pics that involve Barkley playing with superstars in his team.

Coming to the rescue of Chuck, eminent analyst Nick Wright went all out on Kevin Durant. He said, “Very interesting picture choices by Durant because he didn’t choose the time in Barkley’s career where he was the unquestionable ‘bus driver’ of Phoenix. Charles Barkley, in 1993, with the best team he was ever on, got to the NBA finals.”

Wright added, “Go look it up kiddos. A 44 and a 24 in a game 7 to make the NBA finals. In those NBA finals, he averaged 27, 13, and 6 and they lost in 6 on a last-second shot. Guess what? He got criticized for not doing enough and not closing down on Paxson.

Furthermore, Wright accused Durant of choking under pressure. While it seems Durant is ready to take on anybody taking shots at him, he has not responded to Wright yet.
