After the injury to D’Angelo Russell during the second quarter of the game, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James took it upon himself to put the game out of reach. Aiming for a triple-double, James was seemingly doing it all for the Lakers as they hosted the Golden State Warriors. An injured Stephen Curry saw James making highlights with a certain look in his eye, leaving NBA Twitter in an absolute meltdown.

Lakers point guard D’Angelo Russell suffered an injury to his ankle after stepping on Donte DiVincenzo’s foot while inbounding the ball. He was immediately taken to the locker room for further evaluation. And did not return for the remainder of the game.

Curry and James are pretty good friends off the court. However, when it comes to their on-court battles, these two leave no stone unturned in getting the upper hand over the other. James and Curry have battled it out on many occasions in the past.
