There have been great scorers in the NBA. There have some exceptional passers as well. And there have been excellent rebounders of the ball as well. However, there have been very few who have been able to do all three at such a high level. The guy probably who does it the best is without a doubt, LeBron James.

LeBron James is a generational player who stuffs the stat sheet across all the categories. And the way he does it is phenomenal. James could have easily averaged a triple-double his entire career if he wanted to. Very few players have been able to follow in LeBron’s footsteps. But maybe the NBA has another player like LeBron, who has started his career in the same path as the King.

Luka Doncic made his NBA debut back in 2018 and, since then, he has taken the league by storm. He may not be as athletic and fast as LeBron, but he stuffs the stat sheet in every way possible. His style of play is very similar to LeBron’s as they both are deadly scorers who can drop 40 at any time. But their main objective is to keep teammates involved and get everyone going.
LeBron was Luka’s idol while growing up, and LeBron has praised Luka at every step of his career. Bron has admitted Luka is one of his favorite players to watch in the league. At the all-star weekend, LeBron was asked about Luka. Bron says, “The way he plays the game reminds me of the way I play the game. We’re triple threats. We rebound, we pass, which is the number one thing on our mind. … and we’ll put 40 on you too if you disrespect us.”

NBA Fans in shock after LeBron James’s statement
Fans were shocked to see LeBron admit that he and Luka are similar. LeBron was praised for his approach to a young superstar.
Not the biggest LeBron guy but, in fairness, that’s Luka’s idol in terms of NBA players. Imagine if MJ said this about Bron, grouping himself into the same conversation, would there be all this hate?

If Luka took care of his body the way LeBron does…

LeBron is Luka's idol and he model his game after LeBron. LeBron saying that Luka is like him is the ultimate compliment because he is the player Luka wanted to be like the most. This has to do with LeBron giving Luka the highest of praise. This isn't about himself.

I took my phone and called some people who confirmed that Luka is going to the Lakers through a buyout and even though in Los Angeles he will receive a minimal veteran contact— Josué (@Josue__2005) February 19, 2022

Luka Doncic following in his idol’s footsteps
Luka came in to the league in 2018 and he was easily the best player in his class. He reached the all-star game in his second year like LeBron and he has been the best player on his team since day one. Luka has been producing MVP level numbers from his second year itself and he has put in some legendary performances in the playoffs as well. Many have said that Luka has had a better start to his career than LeBron James himself. Luka will hope to continue his great start and he will be very keen on winning some hardware in the near future.
