Scottie Pippen has been receiving some flack for his recent actions. The Chicago legend has gone for every big player of his era, including former teammate, Michael Jordan. Notably, Pippen’s main discomfort came from the Last Dance documentary. While it was meant to be about the Chicago Bulls’ last season together, Pippen felt he wasn’t put out in the right way.

It is surprising to see MJ and Pippen have so much drama. The duo marked their peaks winning six championships in eight years. However, all this time after hanging the boots, many stories are coming to light. Recently, Pippen spoke about Jordan in regards to his book. His words have not sat well with fans but he seems to have one supporter.

Perkins stands with Pippen as he goes for Michael Jordan

It almost seems impossible for the successful duo to have so much many hidden issues. Moreover, for them to come out at this point, seems unnecessary. With Pippen’s recent attacks on legends, he has received a lot of criticism. However, Kendrick Perkins believes people should let Scottie tell his story.

Perkins said: “I’m so tired of people being on Scottie Pippen’s back about what he is saying. He is telling his side of the story. The Last Dance was supposed to be about the team. The Last Dance was a little bit about the team, about 10% of the team and 90% about Michael Jordan.”

“It was really telling Michael Jordan’s story. Scottie Pippen has a book coming out. Scottie Pippen wants to promote his book, I hope he sells a 100 million copies. I don’t know if that’s possible, but I wish him the best. But he has the right to tell his story. Michael Jordan told his story. Let that man tell his side of the story. “

While Perkins’ point of view does seem good, Pippen’s approach is in question. While the Last Dance focused majorly on MJ’s life, he didn’t take a route of disrespect. However, Pippen has gone down that route even criticizing Jordan’s flu game.

His way of putting things is what isn’t sitting well with the people. Attacking his fellow players after so many years is not rubbing off well. Fans believe Pippen can share his side of the story in a much better way without hurting anyone in the process. Do you agree with Kendrick Perkins? Let us know in the comments below.
