Things have not been easy for the Lake show so far. Coming into the season, the expectations were set high. However, they have failed to deliver on their promise. Being a team that is dangling around the .500 mark, they have a truckload of problems in front of them and Love believes they will come back well, but not to the extent that is expected of them.

With all the struggles this season, the purple and gold unit are under immense pressure. So while speaking to Redick, Kevin Love addressed the current situation of the Lakers. While Kevin does believe the Lakers will make noise, he admitted he would be surprised if they deliver according to all the expectations set on them. He said, “I would be surprised if they figure it out all star break and after all star break. I do feel like they will make some noise. How far they will go, I dont know.”

“But I think some of the expectation and the scrutiny is..I’m not going to say unwarranted but in some ways unfair because you got to see how it plays out.”

The Lakers have definitely struggled to find their step. However, they don’t have all their players. Notably, the main player they are missing is Anthony Davis. Recently, he was cleared for on-court activities but there is no timetable for his return. While the Lake show has lost even with him, the ‘Big 3’ haven’t played enough together.
