How LeBron James can race to the top of two different leaderboards on Friday
Four-time league MVP LeBron James will play in his 15th Christmas Day game when he takes to the court against the Mavericks. It implies that the King has only missed this fixture in his career for three years!
Moreover, LeBron James stands third in the all-time Christmas Day points leaderboard. The Lakers star has amassed 361 points in his career and needs only 17 points against the Mavericks to pass Oscar Robertson (377) and clinch second place.
Furthermore, this will be a tough ask, but King James can jump to the first place if he scores 35 points or more against Dallas. Kobe Bryant is the current leader on the list with 395 total points on Christmas Day, and it would be an emotional moment if LeBron overtakes Kobe this year.

Besides having a chance to become Christmas Day’s leading scorer in history, LeBron can also match yet another record. This too is an individual stat, but not about scoring or rebounding.
LBJ currently holds a 9-5 record when it comes to Christmas Day games and he has a chance to bring up a 10th individual victory if the Lakers beat the Mavericks. If it happens, LeBron James will be tied with Dwyane Wade as the players with the most wins on this special day.
