Both of them spoke highly of each other and shared brotherly love between them. But on Sunday, LeBron James did his old friend dirty.

The Cavs took on the Los Angeles Lakers at the Quicken Loans Arena and LeBron got the better of his former team. Along with that, there was a play that took everyone by surprise. LeBron dunked on his old buddy Kevin Love and the fans went nuts.

It was an iconic LeBron poster and this time, Love was on the receiving end. In the post-game press conference, LeBron said he hoped he could take the dunk back, and he said he apologized to Love. But this didn’t end just here, as the Love went to express his thoughts on Twitter.

LeBron also replied to this, and he tweeted out an apology with a hilarious GiF.

In the post-game press conference, LeBron said that he hoped Love moved out of the way so he could avoid being posterized. Instead, Love tried to draw a charge, and he got absolutely humiliated as he was thrown to the ground with just the sheer strength of the ‘King.’ Love got his revenge as he put LeBron in a playful headlock at the start of the third quarter.

Coming back to the game, it was all LeBron James as he torched the Cavs. He ended up with 38 points and he hit a barrage of insane jump shots to seal the deal. The Lakers have shown signs of life in the past three games and LeBron has been leading the charge.

Russ has also shown flashes of his brilliance. The Lakers seemed to be playing like a group and with intent. The Cavs did not answer to the Lakers today and LeBron James got one up on his old friend.
