LeBron James shared a bunch of Instagram stories all day long. While doing so, he reacted to a poster dunk that has now gone viral. Trevon Brazile was the player who threw down this wild dunk. It happened during a college basketball game between the University of Arkansas and South Dakota State. Not only did Brazile catch the attention of the four-time NBA champion but also earned high praise from five-time NBA champion, Magic Johnson.

Trevon Brazile is a sophomore and has been coming off the bench for Arkansas. Late in the game, Brazile dunked all over South Dakota’s forward, Broden Lien. From outside the lane, Brazile jumped up high and slam dunked the ball. The crowd could not believe the poster dunk and was on their feet while his teammates jumped off the bench and celebrated.

Arkansas won the game 79-51. By the time the game was over, Arkansas’s coach had received a message from his daughter. She told him that the NBA community was going cuckoo over the monstrous dunk.

LeBron James, Magic Johnson, and co left in shock

After watching the video, all LeBron James could say was, “My goodness!!!”. On the other hand, Magic Johnson called this the dunk of the year across all levels of basketball. Former Boston Celtics star, Kendrick Perkins compared this to Blake Griffin’s dunk over him in 2012. Then, the rest of the NBA community had their say. Many suggested that Broden Lien should retire. They also called the dunk wild. Fans also compared him to six-time NBA All-Star Blake Griffin.

In a game between Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder in 2012, Clippers’ star Blake Griffin did Perkins wrong (in Perkins’ words). It was during the third quarter when Griffin a perfect pass from Chris Paul. He then launched up in the air and dunked it all over 6’10” Perkins.

The NBA community called this a monstrous dunk. Following this, LeBron James tweeted, “Dunk of the Year! @blakegriffin just dunked on Kendrick Perkins so hard!!!

Blake Griffin is known for such poster dunks. In 2011, he won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest. So it doesn’t come as a surprise when fans linked Trevon Brazile’s dunk to that of Blake Griffin.

Trevon Brazile’s dunk is probably going to be replayed and shared several times. It is not every day that a college player gets noticed by the likes of LeBron James and Magic Johnson.
