LeBron James made his debut in 2003. He was the first pick overall in the 2003 NBA draft. The Cleveland Cavaliers picked the kid from Akron straight after high school. He was that good, even at that young age. Just at 18 people knew LeBron was special, and he had the talent to become one of the greats. That’s exactly what he did.
All through his career of 19 years, he has been in different primes, so to speak. So even when he came to the Lakers in 2019, he was in a different mindset. He had a new challenge in his mind. After already winning 3 rings, he wanted to win more with the franchise, which was second in the list of most titles won in the history of the NBA. And he did exactly that. However, it would have been a lot different, well could have been if he had gone to the 76ers instead. But someone’s miser offer prevented him from joining the 76ers.

Kevin Hart said about calling LeBron to his home city Philadelphia and to his favorite team the 76ers, “Oh my god, listen. I have already tried. I sent him, uh, I sent him $40, he didn’t accept it. I tried it already. I really did send him $40. And said, ‘come to Philly’. He said kiss his a**.”
Well, $40 was a good deal. A real shocker that LeBron decided against it. But ‘A’ for effort, Kevin Hart. At least he tried.
LeBron James’ time at the Lakers
All jokes aside, there was a real possibility that LeBron might have considered joining the 76ers. But that was a really small probability of that happening as things were all set for him to join the Lakers, where now he is also a GM. Now, obviously, Kevin Hart did not make him change his decision in any way but he would be glad that he joined the Lakers because he really has had a good time till now.

The last season by the Lakers was a real disappointment. But individually LeBron still overpowered and outperformed his every teammate. He had an average of 30.3 points per game in 52 games, which was one of the best of his career.

The Lakers is a team that LeBron can lead the way he wants and generate a winning mindset. He won the 2020 NBA championship with them and even in his 19th season, outscored almost everyone in the league. Now things are changing and the team is redefining its roster.
LeBron must eye on an extremely better season for his team and certainly a better one for himself individually. ‘King James’ will play in his 20th season at the age of 37-38 and he certainly needs it to be a massive one. And the Lakers must help him with it.
