This story dates back to 2014 when a then 29-year-old LeBron James was chosen as the GQ cover star. Fresh off an NBA championship with Miami Heat, LeBron was the center of attraction for debates all around the world.
According to GQ Magazine, LeBron remarked, “Everything right now is fantastic. A Miami mansion, a beautiful wife, and two sons. Cars. More money than any other American athlete besides Floyd Mayweather, God love him.”
Interestingly, LeBron James is still not a billionaire. And a billionaire status is something he would love to achieve. During the same interview, he mentioned, “It’s my biggest milestone. Obviously. I want to maximize my business. And if I happen to get it, if I happen to be a billion-dollar athlete, ho. Hip hip hooray! Oh, my God, I’m gonna be excited.”
