Anthony Davis was fantastic against the Bulls. He scored season-high 37 points, along with 3 assists, and 6 rebounds. Davis was the best player for the Lakers as they trounced the Chicago Bulls for the second time this season. LeBron James had a quieter night than usual, only scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. He even had a rare missed dunk during the game.

Luckily for the Lakers, the duo of James and Davis complement each other very well. When one of them has an off night, the other steps up big time and helps lead the Lakers to a victory. So far this season, Davis has not been performing to the level he was expected to. But his performance against the Bulls could be the catalyst to kick-start his season.

Prior to this game, analysts questioned whether Davis would be able to replicate his form from last season. However, with his performance tonight, he may have silenced many of his critics going forward into the season.
