LeBron James Sends Fans into a Tailspin With Massive Dig at Rob Pelinka and Lakers Management

The Los Angeles Lakers have been a disaster this season. LeBron James and company were expected to be one of the top teams in the league, but they have disappointed so far. The management believed that this team would be contenders, but the Lakers are a sub.500 team and are ninth in the Western Conference.
To add insult to injury, the Lakers weren’t able to secure any trades before the deadline. They have three max players on the roster, which makes it really hard to find pieces that fit the team. The media and fans have criticized Rob Pelinka and the front office for constructing the team this way and even more when they couldn’t find any solutions to their problems. However, it seems it’s not only fans and media who have taken shots at Rob, as one of his own players has joined in a well.
LeBron James tweeted a post showing the Rams GM Les Snead and called him legendary. The Ram just won the Super Bowl, and the GM was praised for constructing the championship roster. Fans have called this as a dig at Rob, the Lakers’ GM.

What could have made LeBron angry?
The Lakers were trying to pull off a move for John Wall from the Houston Rockets in exchange for Russell Westbrook. It was heavily reported and a lot of people expected the deal to go through. But the Rockets wanted more, including the 2027 Lakers first-round pick. The Lakers were hesitant to involve that in a deal, as they do not have any picks of their own for a long time. And because of that, the deal didn’t go through and the Lakers were stuck with their current roster.

And this could be the reason why LeBron is disappointed with the front office. As presently constructed, the Lakers are not a championship team. They have too many veterans on their team and they just do not work together. LeBron James has been carrying the load this entire season, and the man isn’t getting any younger. The Lakers will have to try their luck in the buyout market, but their options are few.
