LeBron James Shows Love To Kevin Durant For His New Signature Shoe

While James has had a nightmare of a season with the Lakers, it seems his on-court rival is doing great both on and off the court. The King was thoroughly impressed with Durant’s new signature shoe as he took to Instagram to congratulate his rival.

KD has been on fire in the NBA this season. Coming off setting a new career-high, the two-time champ is one of the faces of the league. Likewise, he is also a major athlete for Nike and has multiple signature shoes.

Recently, the Slim Reaper came out with the 15th edition of his shoes, the KD 15 and it seems it is already catching the eye of many people.

Notably, even LeBron James couldn’t help but compliment the new KDs.

Kevin Durant always comes out with a new shoe as the NBA heads into the playoffs phase. With the Brooklyn Nets looking to make their way through the play-in tournament, it is possible KD could be balling with his new shoes. While there is no official release of the shoe just yet, images of the new KD 15 are circulating all around. And even the best of the best couldn’t help but take notice.

While LeBron has his own collection with Nike, he is always looking into other athletes. And as soon as he saw Kevin Durant’s new invention, the King had his eyes set. He took to his Instagram story to hype up Durant for his new shoe.

He said, “Tough bro!!” It may seem like LeBron is only hyping up KD as they are the same brand. However, the KD 15 sure has the features to bring out such a reaction.

Generally, the Durant shoes are equipped with mid-foot straps, but that has changed with the new release. The KD 15 has curvy TPU cages. One detail that hasn’t changed is the KD logo on the tongue of the shoe. The heel tabs have the word ‘EA$Y’ on them, which points to Durant’s nickname.

Moreover, the sole also has the Slim Reaper’s jersey number 7. As it is a basketball sneaker, the shoe has Zoom cushioning to add the element of comfort on the court.
