The Los Angeles Lakers could not capitalize with all the momentum on their side. They suffered a loss against the Memphis Grizzlies. This loss ends their impressive four-game win streak as they suffer their 20th loss for the season. However, LeBron James was at his best once again.

LeBron is having a phenomenal season for the Lakers. He hasn’t let his age hold him back and is carrying all the load by himself. With Anthony Davis out, Russell Westbrook has struggled to make up for his absence which has left the King to do it all.

However, a mid-game argument caused James to make a poster of Jaren Jackson Jr.

LeBron James makes Grizzlies pay after heated argument

While the game was competitive in the second quarter, Bane finished a tough basket with the foul. However, after the basket, he went right into LeBron. Likewise, the King did not appreciate it and shoved the Grizzles guard. The two got into an argument and were later separated.

Later in the game, with the Lakers down, James decided to make take out his frustrations. In an almost throwback moment, James took the ball right to the rack and threw down an electric dunk over Grizzlies’ big man Jaren Jackson Jr. But despite a late-game surge, the Lakers couldn’t complete a comeback.

Checking in late, Wayne Ellington caught fire, finishing with 16 points on a perfect night.

For Memphis, everybody played to their part in the win. Desmond Bane was the top scorer with 23 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals to his name. Jaren Jackson Jr. added 21 points, 6 blocks, and 12  rebounds in the win. Ja Morant took a back seat this time as he put up 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists in the game.
