LeBron James goes through it again

The Suns once again spoiled the party for the Lakers. They demolished their hopes to make a postseason run. Pheonix put their mark on the Lakers for the second time in consecutive seasons, handing them a 121-110 loss. Likewise, James was not happy as he missed the playoffs for the second time with the Lakers. He stormed off the court, which had NBA fans going back in the past.

James left his all on the court this season being one of the leading scorers putting up 30 points per game. Even at the age of 37, there was no sign of his motor going rusty. However, with him not in the game, there was no stability on the Lakers.

Russell Westbrook continued his impressive streak of games. He put up a team-high 28 points to go with 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Anthony Davis had a decent game as well, posting 21 points and 12 rebounds. Austin Reaves scored 18 points on 60% shooting for the night. But the remaining supporting cast couldn’t add any significant impact.

Devin Booker led the charge for the Suns, amassing 32 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Big man Ayton went right at AD and dominated with 22 points and 13 rebounds while shooting 71%. The number 1 seed faltered at the start but picked things up through the course of the game. Chris Paul had a quiet game, scoring just 6 points and dishing out 12 assists.
