LeBron James Watches 7 Games at Once With His Wife Making Notes: ”I Knew He Will Be a Great the First Time I Met Him”

LeBron James is undoubtedly one of the greatest players to exist in NBA. While the world debates between Michael Jordan and James, James’ greatness cannot be undermined. NBA legend Gilbert Arenas recently mentioned how he knew James was gonna be great the first time he met him.

During a recent interview, Gilbert Arenas talked about a very interesting story involving LeBron and himself. When Arenas visited James’ house, he describes his TV setup. “He’d sit on a couch and have a tv which looked like a bar. His tv setup was like a bar where you’re just watching games.”

Talking about how LeBron James prepares for games, Arenas mentions, “The first time I met him, he’s watching seven things at once, soccer, high school basketball, college girl basketball, NBA. I mean you just sitting there watching a machine and I’m sitting there playing cards. He got a little pad right here with a film going on, he is rewinding it and taking notes, his wife is taking notes. You know his girlfriend at the time and I’m just sitting here like, wow that’s different.”

James has mentioned repeatedly how his wife has played a big part in his career. This incident, narrated by Gilbert Arenas, further proves it.

LeBron and Savannah Brinson

The two lovers have been dating since they were in high school. Although it’s been eight years since their marriage, they have been dating for two decades. The first time they met was during a high school basketball game, where Savannah was a cheerleader for the team playing against LeBron.

Savannah has been beside LeBron through all their difficulties. James finally popped the question to her during New Years’ Eve 2011 and he apparently made Dwyane Wade hold the ring all night long.

LeBron James mentioned his feelings before the proposal during an interview with Oprah Winfrey. “I was nervous. It felt like before a finals game.”

Gilbert Arenas and LeBron James have come face to face in 29 encounters. Among them, 19 were regular-season matches, and 10 of them were postseason.

Arenas hold the edge over LeBron as he has come out on top in 15 encounters in contrast to 14 wins of LeBron James. Although Arenas has more wins, James’ individual performances are way better than Gilbert Arenas.
