Over the years, there have been some stunning rivalries in the NBA. Notably, The Warriors and Cavaliers went at each other for a number of years. LeBron James and Draymond were bitter rivals facing against each other. However, over the years, things have changed. In the Lakers matchup against the Warriors, the King shared a story appreciating Green.
Back in 2016, both the Warriors and Cavs were at their peak. Fresh off a chip, the Warriors were looking to make it back to back. But a resounding LeBron stood in their way. Green and James had several heated incidents over the course of these finals. But their relationship has improved a lot over the years.

The brotherhood between LeBron James and Draymond Green
LeBron’s season was cut short after his ankle injury. So he was watching the game between the Warriors and Lakers. While they are opponents, Green and LeBron are really close. They shared a hug during the matchup. James even shared the heartful moment on his Instagram.

Since their face-offs in the NBA finals, a lot has changed between the two stars. What started off as a bitter rivalry has turned into brotherhood with immense respect. Notably, Green has even partnered up with James on his tequila brand, Lobos 1707 tequila. They are often hanging out when in the same city as their relationship was on clear display during the Lakers-Warriors game. Their finals matchups have all led to them having a brotherly bond on and off the court.

With James not a part of the game, Green and his forces took total control. Despite Horton-Tucker exploding for a career-high 40 points, the Warriors won comfortably. In the 128-112 victory, Klay Thompson tallied a team-high 33 points to guide the Warriors through.
