Kyrie Irving and LeBron James were teammates in the Cleveland Cavaliers from the year 2015 to 2017. The Cavaliers was the first team for both NBA superstars. 

Their time together at the Cavaliers was a successful one, as they won the NBA championship in 2016 together for the first time in Cavaliers’ history. The partnership between LeBron and Kyrie was a force to reckon with and had the potential to be the greatest duo of the NBA.

What could have been and what ended up taking place are two completely different things. Even though the partnership could have ripped apart the NBA, it took an unfortunate turn. The beef between LeBron and Kyrie was a simple case of – wrong mentor, wrong pupil.

Kyrie Irving surprising claim suffers backlash from fans

Kyrie recently tweeted keeping Phoenix Suns Devin Booker in the highest regard. He claimed the DBook had the MVP potential. 

Some fans did not agree with Kyrie’s claim and had him on the ropes on Twitter.

Kyrie tweeted his shout for Devin Booker after the Suns star dropped a 49 point game against the Denver Nuggets. Devin’s 49 points, 4 rebounds and 10 assists made the victory for the Suns possible. The Phoenix Suns have the best record in the league this season 60-14. It is fair to say that a lot of the credit for Suns’ success has to go to Devin Booker’s top class performances.
