The Boston Celtics have booked a berth in the Eastern Conference Finals for the second straight season after ousting the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 7. Among many Celtics supporters who are rejoicing, is Celtics star Al Horford‘s sister Anna Horford. The 29-year-old, who has historically surprised NBA fans with her takes, has now taken a moment to celebrate her brother’s victory. While doing so, she did not forget to hit back at a 76ers fan who had taunted her after game-1.

The hoops community is not alien to Anna Horford’s age-old rift with 76ers supporters. Now that her brother’s side has eliminated the 76ers, she has added fuel to that beef, with a cold revenge. The NBA fandom, in response, has gone into a frenzy after seeing Anna’s comeback against the Philly fan.

Al Horford’s sister ruthlessly takes revenge against a 76ers supporter

Things turned sour between Al Horford’s family and the 76ers fans after Horford left Philadelphia and joined the Celtics. Anna Horford has often reiterated that Philly fans hate her and her family. Given these tensions, the Celtic star’s sister has many a time waged Twitter wars on the Philly fandom. The 76ers fans have had the last laugh against Anna Horford on several occasions. This time around, however, the ball seems to be in the Horford court.

The Philadelphia 76ers won the very first game in the semi-final matchup against the Celtics. In that game, 76ers’ James Harden had scored a three-pointer while Al Horford was painstakingly trying to guard him. A handle named ‘ThePhillyPod’ had then tweeted a snippet of Harden’s bucket, and captioned the tweet, “THIS IS FOR YOU BUTTERCUP @AnnaHorford.” Now that her brother’s team has ousted James Harden and the 76ers, Anna Horford replied to the tweet with a video of Al Horford giving a flying kiss. She wrote, “This is for you, Buttercup,” in her reply tweet.
