The Sixers, on the other side, got Paul Millsap alongside ‘The Beard’, James Harden. Harden has recently landed in Philly and received a warm welcome from Sixers President of basketball operations, Daryl Morey.

Daryl Morey has been with the Sixers since 2020 and has worked wonders for them ever since. He played an important role in the James Harden-Ben Simmons trade deal that happened on the trade deadline day on Thursday. However, Morey has previously worked with Harden during his time with the Rockets.

Daryl Morey was with Houston Rockets for more than a decade. When the opportunity to bring Harden to Philly came, Morey jumped up to the opportunity and completed the deal before the trade deadline elapsed. Harden recently landed in Philly after his move to the Sixers.
