However, he struggled for the first few games. That’s when he faced Patrick Ewing and the New York Knicks and he put on a spectacular show.

The game ended with the Bulls narrowly beating the Knicks by 113-111 and MJ scored 55 points, 2 assists, and 4 rebounds. Although Jordan was the talk of the town, Patrick Ewing of the Knicks had a great game as well.

He scored 36 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. Sadly, Jordan stole most of the limelight as Ewing’s performance went under the radar.
