The NBA made a deal that allowed brand advertising on the jerseys of NBA teams around the league. The deal went down in 2017 and has been a huge success since then. At first, fans were quite skeptical about this move. But it has arguably worked out so far as the brand’s logos do not overshine on jerseys. In fact, they are tucked away in the upper left corner of every team’s jersey.

Each team has a brand they have signed up with. According to the signed contract, each NBA team is allowed to have 50% of the profits that are created by sponsorships. The rest of the 50% is divided amongst the rest of the 29 teams in the league.

In fact, Orlando Magic point guard Markelle Fultz did a photoshoot wearing Mickey Mouse ears, white gloves, and yellow shoes.
