Despite being in the league for nearly two decades and amassing a multitude of accolades, LeBron James is always looking to improve his game. Up until a few years ago, LBJ was considered a mediocre 3-point shooter. However, in his time as a Laker, he is slowly but surely rectifying that flaw in his game.

In fact, he showed off his progress in the Lakers’ Sunday night victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. Although the purple and gold won the game, it was a very close matchup until the final quarter.

In the fourth quarter, King James took over and scored 13 of his 22 points to close out the game.

During that incredible scoring run, LBJ pulled up a deep 3 from the Grizzlies’ logo. Ultimately, it proved to be a dagger for the already short-handed Memphis Grizzlies.

As expected, the NBA community was quick to react to this sensational 3-pointer from LeBron James.

With this game in the books, the Lakers improved their season record to 5-2. Considering their current form, they have truly silenced the critics after a slow start to the season. If the Lakers maintain this phenomenal run, they are right on track to win the NBA title once again.

This season, King James has turned 36-years-old, but he is yet to show any signs of decline. In fact, one can stick their neck out and say that he looks even better than last season. Needless to say, there are no doubts that the ultimate goal for the purple and gold is to bring home championship #18 to the Staples Center.

But to achieve that goal, they need to be consistent over the entire course of the season. One of the biggest advantages that the organization has this year is a much more improved bench. The Lakers’ bench kept the team in the game when their starters were struggling to find buckets.
