NBA legends Shaquille O’Neal and the late Kobe Bryant are known to be very generous men. The Big Diesel is especially known for his acts of kindness after his retirement. He recently built a Comebaq court in his hometown of Newark, New Jersey. This is another contribution of Big Shaq to the community. He has also followed in the footsteps of his ex-teammate Kobe Bryant’s family, who also did something similar recently.

Former Mayor of Anaheim Harry Sidhu said, “This court is a lasting legacy of that connection and will introduce a new generation of Anaheim kids to the joy of basketball.” Other officials from Anaheim county also attended the inauguration ceremony.

Another court also opened in Philadelphia’s Tustin Recreation Center. It is significant because Philly was Kobe’s hometown.

The Mamba and Mambacita foundation, alongside the Nancy Lieberman Charities and Trust, has done a lot of good among communities. They recently partnered up with Nike to produce the “Mambacita” line of shoes. The proceeds of the sale will go to the foundation that will help disadvantaged kids in their athletic dreams.
