“Bron Is a Hostage”: LeBron James and Lakers Fans Left Furious With “Tragic” Update as Trade Season Heats Up
Follow Us
When LeBron James signed an extension contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, the idea was to build a championship team around James. This season, LeBron has led the way with an average of 29 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game. In the second place, the Lakers have Anthony Davis, who is currently injured. However, the rest of the team is miles away from holding averages close to that of LeBrons. With this in mind, Laker Nation has experienced the feeling of frustration on several occasions. A majority of the frustration is towards the front office for their decisions and plans. This feeling only seems to grow strong, especially with the latest trade update.
As the discussions around the trade season amp up, reports stated that the Lakers front office “are not willing to trade the (draft) picks”. The Lakers have first-round picks in 2027 and 2029. Their focus is on making trade deals without having to sacrifice these picks. The report also stated that these discussions are only “rumblings”. But the talk of the town is that they are “guarding” these picks. The release of this news has caused chaos online.

The Lakers’ road to victory was led by Dennis Schroder’s 32 points, Russell Westbrook and Thomas Bryant’s 21 points. For the Miami Heat, contributions came from players like Bam Adebayo’s 30 and Jimmy Butler’s 27-point game.
This victory without their leader King James is a big sign of hope that this team could prove to be champions. However, only time can tell the fate and future of the Los Angeles Lakers.
