The Los Angeles Lakers have been one of the biggest disappointments this season. They have a record of 26-30, which puts them in ninth place in the Western Conference. The Lakers just haven’t been able to figure it out this season and have struggled mightily with injuries. With all that being said, they are not giving up and are confident about turning things around.

Handy recently posted a photo on Instagram saying this season is not done. He asked the doubters and critics to keep pilling on them while they come out of this slump and prove everyone wrong.

Handy’s caption says “Stopping is not an option! I’m always going to grind and find a way. You don’t become a champion by giving up no matter what the circumstances are.”

Despite all the adversity the Lakers have seen this season, Handy is not ready to throw in the towel yet. Sure, the Lakers have been bad and have downright looked lost at times. Their effort and commitment has been called into question as well. However, the coaching staff decisions have been baffling at times.

But they still have a squad that is worthy of challenging for a title. They still have LeBron James, the greatest player of this generation, who is playing at an MVP level. Anthony Davis is starting to look like his former self again. Russell Westbrook is a Hall of Famer and he still has time to figure out his role.

Their role players have shown flashes of brilliance this season and Frank Vogel is one of the best defensive coaches in the league. The Lakers just need to take a step back and figure out who they are first. Once they have it, it could be a very scary sight for the league.
