The NBA off-season is for launching businesses, recording albums, doing ad films, managing philanthropic work, and, yes, getting married. Anthony Davis of the Lakers used it wisely and finally tied knots with long-term girlfriend Marlen P. 

Now, can AD celebrate the most memorable day of his life and not have his closest buddies around? Not happening! So he had LeBron James and Russell Westbrook all suited up for the big man’s big day. But how exactly did the things unfold?

Lakers’ LeBron James and Russell Westbrook built some curiosity

Prior to reaching the wedding venue, LeBron James posted a story on his Instagram handle. He looked absolutely dapper and matched his ‘men in black’ outfit with Russell Westbrook. Take a look at the video – 

Later, just as the star duo joined the wedding, they had former Laker Jared Dudley awaiting them. Although Duds came in a grey attire, they could still match those owl-eye black shades and the LA swagger. See for yourself –

What special did Anthony Davis do on the night?

Although the 28-YO did not post anything about his second ring, he did do something rather romantic. The man sang a song for Marlen while she was sitting at the dinner table. He came walking slowly towards her, bent on his knees, held her hand, and almost inclined forward to kiss her as she blushed & smiled. 

This side of the center-forward was something new and unseen. However, he nailed it and left a memory for their daughter Nala to cherish years later. Notably, the couple started dating in 2016/17 and hosted their first baby shower at the end of 2017. 

Now, it will be interesting to see where they go on vacation and whether or not AD will post anything about it. Till then, stay tuned!
