The situation for the Los Angeles Lakers just keeps on getting worse. From players entering health and safety protocols to Anthony Davis getting injured, as well as losing three games in a row, fans are still looking for a silver lining.
However, it looks like that might not happen anytime soon, as Malik Monk posting a cryptic message on Twitter has fans riled up even more than before.

Malik Monk hasn’t had the easiest season so far. At first, he struggled to get some rhythm to his game and when he was finally able to contribute to games and live up to his expectations, he was affected by the pandemic.
Monk, who hasn’t played a single game since December 12, has consistently shown his displeasure while being in the league’s health and safety protocols.

In fact, he was inches away from returning to play basketball after he submitted two negative tests that had permitted him to travel with the team to play against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was thrilled when he cleared the safety regulations to play and even insinuated that he is coming back on Twitter.
However, Malik had clearly jumped the gun, as he tested positive again and had to go back to the health and safety protocols of the NBA.

Although this turned out to be bad news for Monk, the fact that his flaws were caught before he suited up for a game was great news. Once again, the shooting guard has no way to express himself other than Twitter.

Well, the Lakers aren’t in the best shape for the season, their chances of securing a playoff berth itself are up in the air. With Davis out for at least another month, there is no telling how the rest of the season is going to go for them.
