In light of this, many have called Frank Vogel to be fired as the head coach. Moreover, Vogel’s coaching and in-game-calling ability have been called into question and many rumors suggest there is discontent in the locker room.

The Lakers management believe firing the coach won’t matter

Adrian Wojnarowski reveals why the Los Angeles Lakers haven’t thought about firing Vogel. Woj also suggests not all coaches could have survived the week, the Lakers have had, but Vogel did, suggesting that the front office still trusts him.

The Lakers have had a horrible week, losing all their games. And the lack of effort in those games has called Vogel’s coaching style into scrutiny. But the Lakers still trust Vogel to get through this torrid season. They would want to see how far he can take this team in the playoffs and reevaluate his position later on.
