Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is usually the calmest player on his team. However, there are times he has lost his cool. During the recent match against the Sacramento Kings, he was furious with the referee.

After a no-call from the referee, Curry was evidently furious at the ref which resulted in him getting a technical foul. During the post-match press conference, Steph Curry hilariously related this situation with a similar one against the Houston Rockets. Interestingly enough, he also talked about how this incident can turn around his team’s fortunes.

The Golden State Warriors have not been at their absolute best at the start of the season. After 11 games, they are on a losing record of 4-7. This start was certainly not expected from the defending champions.
During the recent game against the Sacramento Kings, Warriors leader Stephen Curry let his emotions get the best of him. He was fuming at the referee which resulted in a technical foul.
After the match, he was asked to comment on this incident. He said, “I see a lot of jokes about me kicking a chair a couple years ago and us going on a run after that. Maybe that’ll be this years version of that.”

Interestingly enough, Curry talks about an incident last season and not a couple of years ago. After a frustrating match against the Houston Rockets, Curry took out his emotions on a chair. Heading into the fourth quarter of the match, he was on 4-of-15 shooting.

Curry was naturally upset at his bad form. However, the Warriors heroically turned their season around and went on to win the NBA title for the 2021-22 season.

Despite his team’s bad start to the season, Steph Curry has been individually very good. He is averaging 32.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 6.9 assists in 10 games this season.
