‘The Shop Uninterrupted’, a podcast show-starring Lakers player LeBron James, Paul Rivera, and businessman Maverick Carter aired its recent episode on June 11th, 2022.?This edition of the talk show saw an appearance from hip-hop icon Fat Joe, comedian and actress Amy Schumer, and CNN Primetime news anchor Don Lemon.

The cast covered a myriad of topics; ranging from Amy Schumer’s take on the Will Smith/Chris Rock incident’ and speaking out on social issues, to Fat Joe’s anecdotes from his pandemic IG Lives and LeBron transitioning to television/team ownership.
LeBron James also looked back on missing the 2022 NBA playoffs and talked about his love for the sport. The NBA legend also spoke about what playoffs team he could potentially impact and what makes Luka Doncic his favorite player.

What makes Luka Doncic such a special in LeBron’s eyes?
On the topic of basketball, Fat Joe asked Lakers?superstar LeBron what makes Luke Doncic such a threat on the offense since he makes the same move in the paint recurringly. LeBron replied saying, “I mean, he’s gigantic. He’s 6’8″. (He’s a) 6’8″ point guard. He’s 225 pounds. He has the ball on a string. And, more importantly, his vision. That’s why I love–his vision. He can control a game. He doesn’t even have to shoot. He will literally–he’ll walk the ball up the court 10 straight times and get to his spot every single time. Just because of his pace.”

Luka Doncic is putting up some unreal basketball numbers on the court. The Dallas Maverick’s point guard averages 28.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 8.7 assists. He is able to do so because his pacing and physique help him draw favorable matchups and become a threat in the paint.

Later in the talk show, LeBron James broke down how Luka finds his shot and reaches his spot on the court.?He said, “He knows when he comes off a pick and roll if they’re hard showing, or if they hedging, or if they dropping the pick and roll. He knows I can turn the corner ’cause I got this shoulder, and I know the third line of defense.”
Luka Doncic, at 23-years-old, has become a talking point in the league. Some of the accolades he has won are one All-Rookie Team, three All-NBA, and one NBA Rookie of the Year. This year he took his team, the Dallas Mavericks, to the playoffs and averaged 32 points in the Western Conference Finals. With the right supporting cast, Luka Doncic and the Mavs are not far from a championship ring.
