Luka Doncic is a player who keeps exceeding his expectations in the NBA. People knew he was good when he first came into the league, but not many expected such a rapid rise from the young Slovenian. As the All-Star game is right around the corner, Doncic will match yet another NBA record with his appearance. 

For fans who are unaware, Luka Doncic is a starter in the 2021 All-Star game, and it marks his second successive appearance at this event. It is such an honor indeed for Doncic, who is playing in his second All-Star game at the tender age of 22!

As mentioned above, Luka Doncic is a starter in the 2021 All-Star game. He will lace up for ‘Team LeBron’ and attempt to win the specially designed game in honor of the late Kobe Bryant. 

Speaking about Bryant, the Lakers legend is one of the very few players to have made multiple All-Star game stars at 22-years-old or younger. It is quite an exclusive list, and Luka Donic will etch his name in history if he successfully stars in the 2021 All-Star game.

Luka Doncic will have two All-Star game starts under his belt after Sunday. The 22-year-old will be the latest one to join Bryant, LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal, Isiah Thomas, and Rick Barry in this star-studded list. 

Considering that Doncic will now create a special record, his controversial starting position now has more value. Many felt that Damian Lillard deserved to start the All-Star Game, but Doncic received the nod due to higher votes from the fans.

The Kobe Bryant All-Star Game MVP award will be an honor for any player who wins it on Sunday. Kawhi Leonard was the recipient of the inaugural award last year, and there are many contenders who will eye the prize in 2021.

The All-Star game is always a star-studded affair, and there are several players like LeBron James, Giannis Antetokopunmpo, and Steph Curry, who are the favorites to win the award ahead of a guy like Luka Doncic.
