NBA legend Dennis Rodman has been in some high-profile relationships over the years. But none so popular than his relationship with the ‘Queen of Pop,’ Madonna even though it was very short-lived. The Detroit Pistons selected Rodman as the 27th overall pick in the second round of the 1986 NBA draft. There was not much hype about his arrival. He was a calm and shy kid when he first stepped into the league. With the Pistons, he found a family, and he began to improve at a high pace.
Rodman soon became the best defensive player in the league and helped the team immensely. He was mostly tasked with guarding the best player on the opposing team and he accepted that challenge. His size and versatility helped him guard almost anyone on the hardwood. Rodman also racked up rebounds for fun. With his help, the Pistons won two straight titles.

In the video, the popular pop star plays a game where she proclaims she’d be deemed as ‘gay’ if she misses a shot. Subsequently, she proceeds to take the shot and misses by a huge margin. As a result, Internet users have started speculating about her sexuality. Madonna has always been a proud advocate for the LGBQ+ community.

Even though Madonna and Rodman’s relationship was very short, it was still very serious according to one of his former teammates, Jack Haley. Haley also claimed that the pop star asked Rodman to marry her multiple times.

Rodman’s career with the Spurs
‘The Worm’ did not have a good time playing for the Spurs. Even though he was playing great, his off-the-court antics did not sit well with management. The Spurs traded Rodman to the Bulls even though they did not get much in return.

It worked out great for Rodman and the Bulls. He became an intrinsic part of the team with his defensive abilities as soon as he joined them. And the Bulls were not overly concerned with his off-the-court antics. Rodman helped the Bulls win three straight titles from 1996 to 1998 alongside Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. He then left the Bulls when they began to rebuild.
Then, after one unsuccessful year with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks each, Rodman retired.
