Not only that but he even gave a special shoutout to Jamychal Green for his outstanding effort too. Green went on to replace Kevon Looney in the starting lineup in order to slow down Anthony Davis.

Green more than excelled in that task as he made the most of the opportunities on offense as well. He scored 15 points and helped Curry rack up 12 assists as well. Which ultimately led Johnson to call Green the ‘unsung hero’ for the Warriors.

Then the five-time NBA champion went on to praise Steve Kerr and gave his usual insight into his former team for their next game.

Even former Laker and NBA champion Kyle Kuzma tweeted, “Ouuu warriors on that tonight.”

Notable sports writers like Bill Simmons and Colin Cowherd too reacted to the Warriors’ making drastic adjustments for their win.
