It is that time of the year that football fans love the most. The Super Bowl took place today between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kanas City Chiefs. As much as fans are excited to know what the game is going to be like, they also were eager for the performance of a nine-time Grammy winner. Rihanna put on a show for the crowd and fans to witness with her halftime performance. Amid the huge crowd were a lot of celebrities who shared their excitement for Rihanna’s performance. 

The Barbadian singer’s show went viral as fans shared their thoughts on Twitter.

Chris Stapleton, an American singer, and songwriter moved the audience with his rendition of the national anthem. All eyes then were on the battle between the MVP Patrick Mahomes II and the Eagles QB Jalen Hurts. However, Rihanna quickly stole the spotlight. The s34-year-old took over the stage in a dashing red jacket.

Rihanna started with one of her famous radio hits, ‘You Better Have My Money’. The singer had the crowd on their feet singing along. Fans believe Rihanna has gotten her comeback with this energetic performance. The singer had taken a break due after giving birth to her first child with rapper ASAP Rocky.

Amid the huge crowd were LeBron James and his wife Savannah James. James who witnessed the performance live, took to his Twitter to share his excitement. James mentioned on his Twitter, “Rih got so many killer tracks”. Moreover, former NBA superstar of the Los Angeles Lakers, Magic Johnson tweeted, “Rihanna was nothing short of amazing”

NBA legend Michael Jordan’s daughter Jasmine Jordan showed her love to the singer, mentioning “Shine bright my baby”. Houston Rockets star Jalen Green also approved of Rihanna’s performance. The young guard mentioned in his Instagram story, “Yeah she took over the Super Bowl”

Rihanna joins Eminem, 50 Cent, and Snoop Dogg

‘Rap God’ Eminem, 50 Cent, and Snoop Dogg gave one of the best Super Bowl half-time performances last year. Fans believe Rihanna is now at par with them, and are appreciating her for her solo takeover of the State Farm Stadium. The Eagles led the game at half-time 24-14, but the Kansas City Chiefs came roaring back to win 38-35.
