Charles Barkley, the former star of the Phoenix Suns, has been a great entertainer on and off the court. After his legendary career, Barkley joined as one of the hosts for the ‘NBA on TNT’ alongside Shaquille O’Neal. He continues to share insights and incidents on various podcasts and show. One such is his recent interview for “All the Smoke” with former NBA players Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson. Barkley shared numerous views and takes on the current NBA players and his past life, which caught the attention of the NBA buffs.
Chuck shared a hilarious experience with the NBA legends Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, and Patrick Ewing on their day out. Barkley subtly highlighted the greatness of the boxing veteran Mike Tyson while sharing the story.

Charles Barkley was left stunned by Mike Tyson’s quickness
The Suns’ star, in his interview, started with, “Oh I tell you a funny story about boxing. I’m with Magic Johnson, Michael [Jordan], Patrick Ewing and they are all like early in my career.”, mentioning the start of another story of an NBA rookie getting bullied.
These NBA stars had gone to watch Mike Tyson’s match, early in Barkley’s career. Mike Tyson was all over the news, during the prime time of his career. He was also often compared to the late boxing legend Muhamad Ali for his assertive dominance in the ring.

Barkley continues, “I’m a young buck on the totem pole. They make me go get drinks. And I come back and Tyson already mocked this motherf***er out”, showing his disappointment in missing the fight.

He added, “You f*cking serious right now! The motherf***ers[MJ, Magic, and Ewing] are laughing at me. I’m walking around with two buckets of popcorn and drinks. I walk back and they just laughing at me”. The hosts could not stop laughing at this hilarious story.

Barkley weighs in on LeBron James being the greatest ‘face of the league’
Charles Barkley also shared his view by supporting Golden State Warriors forwards Draymond Green’s take on LeBron James being the best ‘face of the league’. Barkley believes James has had an excellent reputation in the league since 2002, and has never struggled as an individual in all his 20 seasons. Barkley also mentioned James is the ‘greatest sports story of all-time’, giving high praise to the Lakers star.
