The NBA has featured some incredible players over the years. These players are the reason for some outrageous plays over the years. But probably no one has done it more often than His Airness, Michael Jordan. One of his greatest shots even left the great Magic Johnson stunned.

Jordan is considered to be the GOAT by many people around the world. His insane athleticism and jaw-dropping skills left fans stunned around the globe. Some of his plays are still one of the best in NBA history to this date. One such play happened in a practice game in 1992 for Team USA in Monaco.

Termed as the Dream team, it was one of the greatest teams ever assembled. For the first time, NBA players were allowed to play in the Olympics. That team consisted of Jordan, Magic, Scottie Pippen, Clyde Drexler, and other legends. Their team was coached by the legendary Chuck Daly.

Chuck divided the teams into East versus West. So Jordan and Magic were on opposite sides. The teams scrimmaged for three days and it was a very intense matchup. One day, Magic’s team went up big and Magic, who is not known for talking trash, decided to try it out against Jordan. He let Jordan know that if they didn’t pick it up, they were gonna blow them out.

And according to Magic’s revelation on the Jimmy Kimmel show, this pissed Jordan off. His tongue was out longer than it used to and his eyes got big. He came out of the huddle and hit a three and looked at Magic. Again, he came down and hit another three. Then what happened was unprecedented.

Magic said,” So the greatest shot, I’ve been involved in all three of them…So this is the greatest shot I’ve seen. He came down the right side and took off, David Robinson took off and he said I’m gonna sit here in the air. Cause I know David Robinson is gonna go down.”

This shook Magic and the other legends. Magic says there is no one like Jordan and there never will be. And he learned his lesson to not talk trash to Jordan again.
