Will his injury set back the team? Head coach Steve Clifford said after the game, “hopefully it’s not bad”.
LaMelo Ball has to stick around
The Charlotte Hornets have seen several of their players succumbing to injuries. Caleb Martin is out for at least four weeks because of an arthroscopic knee injury. Gordon Hayward is dealing with a shoulder injury and is not on the active list. Dennis Smith Jr suffered a left ankle sprain. The Hornets had been waiting for Ball’s return for some time to give the team and the fans a much-needed boost.
Notably, Michael Jordan has come under the fire before for poor management of the Hornets. He has been the majority owner of the team since 2010 and many people believe that he has not made wise decisions. The drafting of certain players and their contracts have been questioned.
