LeBron James is one of the best players to step on the basketball court. His all round basketball ability to go with his IQ makes him one of a kind. However, the one thing that stands out about him is his longevity. James is currently in his 19th year and is still able to dominate the game. It was recently revealed that James has spent exactly half his lifetime on the NBA floor. And the ‘King’ reacted to it.

There haven’t been many players who spent as much time on the court as LeBron James. This fact update proved just how crazy James’ longevity really is. While most player who played long enough were declining, it seems James is still the same. He is leading the Lakers in their pursuit to win another title and he is still one of the best players in the league.

LeBron James spends half his days in the NBA

James is about to turn 37 on December 30. This fact showcases that James spent 6752 days from being born all the way to getting drafted in 2003. That amounts to the same amount of time he has spent from draft night till his current career. While reacting to this stat, James pointed how tomorrow his NBA life will exceed his life away from the league.

Not many people share this kind of stat. The notable players are Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, Dirk Nowitzki, Vince Carter, Moses Malone and his teammate Carmelo Anthony. All these players spent over half of their lifetime on the NBA court since being drafted into the league. These players are revolutionaries of the sport and James is now part of this elite list.

However, the one thing that makes him different from them is his dominance on the game. James is still on top of his game. He is one of the leading scorers of the league putting up 25.9 points per game. He is the leader of the Lakers and continues to produce at a high level. For other players, they were already past their peak and kept going taking a smaller role.
