After Game 6 concluded with LA’s victory, Shams Charania and Anthony Slater of The Athletic dropped a major bomb concerning Draymond Green. As per reports, the 4x NBA champion will be staying in the Bay Area for not just one but multiple seasons. The Dub Nation is reportedly planning to talk about a possible multiyear contract with Green.
The reason, as stated by Charania and Slater, was that if Green decides to enter the open market then he would be receiving offers from several playoff-contending teams who would be interested in acquiring him. They added, “Both Green and the Warriors appear intent on discussing an extension to their partnership, if the price is right.”
