Steph Curry is widely regarded as the greatest shooter of all-time. Proving his shooting caliber yet again, the former unanimous MVP put up 57 points against the Dallas Mavericks. This was the second-highest tally of his career, with his massive 62 points against the Portland Trail Blazers being the highest.

After the game, Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle spoke to the press. He praised Steph Curry’s game and said that he is one of the hardest players to guard in the NBA.

“I don’t know if there’s a harder guy to play in basketball right now than Steph Curry because of all the different ways he affects the game and just his uncanny ability to make shots from anywhere on the floor.”

Steph Curry has been absolutely fantastic this season. Despite not having his backcourt partner Klay Thompson so far, Curry has been playing at an MVP level.

For the season, Curry is averaging 28 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. Unfortunately, Curry’s solid numbers haven’t translated into victories for the Warriors, who have had an inconsistent season so far with a 12-11 record.

Curry on a roll right now

But his numbers have not been as significant to the Warriors’ record this year as they were then.
