Although LeBron James and Desmond Bane have been involved in some heated conversations this season, it was actually LeBron who gave Bane his moment.

In his first few games, Desmond Bane took on the Lakers, and this was the first time he went up against the Superstars of the league. This was when the Lakers were coming off a championship and had a fully healthy team.

“This dude is strong as sh-t”- Bane referring to LeBron James
Bane says, “I hadn’t seen any true superstars yet and in game 4, we play a healthy Lakers team, and it’s like LeBron, AD, and all of them. I’m picking up LeBron full court. And it’s like the end of the quarter, so like I’m trying to be pesky on the ball,”
“He just put a forearm on me. And I’m like oh my god, this due is strong as sh-t. That was kind of my welcome to the league moment, just like you know, I’ve fulfilled a lifelong dream of mine,” he added.
For any player, playing against LeBron James would be an honor and to have LeBron give you your Welcome to the League moment, would be so much more special.
Bane had an average rookie year, but this time around he has been a revelation for the Memphis Grizzlies. He has been sensational so far for them and he has helped the Grizzlies reach the third seed in the West. He has improved massively this year and is in contention for the most improved player of the year award.

Bane provides the Grizzlies with instant offense from the bench and he has had some big games this year. He is also a part of their closing lineup and he has made some big shots for them this year. The Grizzlies will hope that he continues this good form and they hope to win the first title in franchise history.
