The rift between NBA greats Michael Jordan and Isiah Thomas seems nowhere near the end. Recently, Thomas called out Jordan due to the way he was portrayed in ‘The Last Dance’ docu-series. The former Detroit Pistons legend even went as far as to call MJ an a**hole. While MJ has yet to respond to Thomas, a former teammate of MJ beat him to it. After Thomas made the comments against MJ, Charles Oakley decided it was apparently time to set things straight.

The beef between Michael Jordan and Isiah Thomas was highly publicized back in the early 90s. The two never got along well off-court or on-court. Moreover, their rivalry made every face-off between the Chicago Bulls and the Detroit Pistons more than just a game. The Pistons were known to come up with the ‘Jordan Rules’ to beat the Bulls and specifically, Jordan.

Charles Oakley shuts Isiah Thomas for calling out Michael Jordan

According to Eurohoops, Isiah Thomas was upset with the way the docuseries portrayed him. Apparently, Thomas was watching Michael Jordan’s ‘The Last Dance’ docu-series along with his family. While the first few minutes seemingly went well, Jordan’s comments on Thomas shocked the latter.

“And then this guy comes on television and he says that he hates me and then he calls me an a**hole. And then I proceed to watch a whole documentary about him being an a**hole,” said Thomas.
