Michael Jordan is quite possibly the greatest basketball player ever. This is not the first time you will read this, nor the last time. But another thing that is as true as him being the greatest is that MJ has always been arrogant. He himself agrees that his arrogance and his attitude helped him become one of the best athletes ever, regardless of the sport.

Today, Michael Jordan is the richest athlete in the world. Post retirement, MJ has done a lot of investments and he owns many companies. Along with his partnership with Nike for Air Jordans, many other business ventures contribute to his massive net worth. MJ’s winning mentality, his drive to always be the best and his competitiveness often made him roast other NBA players all throughout his career and even after his retirement.

It is not like MJ did not or does not respect anyone. He obviously did and does. However, it is just his inner fire that has always kept him proud and competitive. Many players from his time shared stories of MJ trash talking and bringing justice to those roasts with his performance on court. It was never just all talk with Jordan, but he also always gave his all to win. All in all, MJ has always loved roasts, trash talking and banters. All of which made him one of those “bad” people.
